A trademark license contract is drafted when a party wishes to acquire license of the trademark of the other party for professional use and agree to pay an amount for using the trademark for a fixed period of time. This contract consists of certain terms and conditions which have to be agreed upon by both the involved parties.

Sample trademark license contract:

This trademark license contract is made and entered into as of 12th July 2011(the effective date) by and between Telly Intel Corp herein referred as the LICENSOR and Mac Solutions herein referred as the LICENSEE.

The following are the details of the parties:

Address of LICENSOR: 12-P, Bill tower, LA

Address of LICENSEE: 45-A, jack building, LA

Licensee desires to use the trademark in both block letter and stylised form in connection with licensee’s company logo to promote the fact that there is a tie up between the companies.

The following are the terms and conditions of the contract:

  • Termination of contract:

This contract shall remain into effect for duration of 12 months

Termination date: 12th July 2012

  • The Licensee agrees to keep the rights of the trademark to himself for professional purpose only.
  • The Licensee agrees to pay an amount of $10000 for usage of trademark as a monthly amount.
  • Both the parties realise that the violation of terms and conditions of the contract shall lead to legal implications.
