A tenancy contract cancellation letter is used to cancel a previously signed and agreed upon tenancy contract between the owner and the tenant due to reasons like non-payment of rent on time, bad maintenance of property, or non-renewal of tenancy contract after the end date of the initial contract.

Sample Tenancy Contract Cancellation Letter:

Date: 01st Jul 2010

Will Johnson

58/41, VOC Street,

Grand Trunk Road, Alabama 58456

Dear Mr. Alan

This letter is to inform you that I wish to cancel the lease offered to you for setting up a store in our premises in VOC Street. The contract was signed on 03 Mar 2009 and the effective state date of residence availability was 15 Mar 2009. The contract terms needed renewal after every one year. You have completed one year of stay by 15 Mar 2009 and you failed to renew the contract of tenancy.

I acknowledge that you have made all your monthly payments on time and therefore even when you did not renew the contract immediately after one year of stay, I have given you grace till to renew the contract till 31st Jun 2010. However, I regret to inform you that I am unable to extend the renewal dates anymore.

Therefore I have decided to cancel the tenancy contract signed with you and set up my own business in this premises. The date by which you have to vacate the premises of my home is 15th Jul 2010. I hope you will agree to this contract cancellation and cooperate with us by vacating the premises.

Regret any inconvenience caused.

Yours sincerely

John Davey
