A tenancy agreement is a kind of an agreement which is formed between a property owner and a tenant of the property to discuss the tenancy related details in a written and legally binding manner.
Most tenancy agreements are formed for longer durations of time such as 3 years, 5 years, 10 years and so on but in certain cases, the tenancy may be effective only for a short duration of time and hence they are known as short term tenancy agreement contracts. Short term tenancy agreements work like any regular tenancy contracts and are also legally enforceable in nature.
Short term tenancy agreement contracts must give the details of the tenant as well as the landlord including their contact numbers, names and addresses. These contracts should also consist of the details of the property which has been leased such as its location, description and size etc. But the most important part of such a contract is the terms and conditions section.
These terms and conditions must describe how the parties are expected to conduct and what their roles will be during the effective period of the tenancy. The contract must also mention the commencement and termination date of the contract.
