A professional service contract is a legal document which is drafted whenever an individual or an organization agrees to provide service on a professional level to another individual or an organization. The parties involved in the contract are known as the service provider and the client and they draft the terms and conditions in the contract which needs to be followed by both of them.

Sample Professional Service Contract

This contract is made on this of 15th day of February, 2011 by and between Tours and Travels Agency referred as the client and the John Nash referred as the service provider to provide service of designing and printing brochures for the client.

It is mutually agreed between the client and the service provider as follows:

  1. Duration and Termination

This Agreement shall continue in effect for twenty four months, commencing from 20th of February, 2011 subject to termination by either party on one month prior written notice.

  1. Performance

Service provider agrees to perform services as an independent individual. His duties include:

a)   Creating a design for the pamphlets and brochures for the client

b)   Taking print out the pamphlets and brochures

  1. Time for Performance

There is no fixed time for which the service provider needs to work. He can work as per his convenient timing, but he has to meet deadlines and give printout of a certain amount of brochures and pamphlets by a certain period of time

Both the parties have agreed to the contract by putting their signature below:
