A non-profit joint venture contract is a legal document or agreement that exists between two parties, one of whom is a NGO (non-profit organization) and the other is a corporation, organization or another NGO. The non-profit contract has most terms and conditions of any joint venture contract except that there is no profit sharing.

Following terms and conditions are important aspect of the non-profit joint venture contract and need to be followed:
- Terms and Conditions:Both the parties’ involved “Friends for the Planet” and “Elsin Inc.” should agree upon the terms and conditions mentioned in the non-profit joint venture contract. If any of the parties encourages commercial exploitation of the joint venture project for profits then the contract will be void and the said party will be held responsible for breach of contract.
- Investment & Management:“Elsin Inc.” will be the primary investor in this joint venture contract and the investment amount will be $900,000. “Elsin Inc.” will have 50 percent stake in the joint venture and will have members in the board of directors managing the entire project.
- Term:This Non-Profit joint venture contract between “Friends for the Planet” and “Elsin Inc.” will be valid from the signing date to a period of 5 years, which will be known henceforth as the term of the joint venture contract.
