A healing separation Contract is an alternative to the process of divorce. The healing separation Contract attempt to provide structured guidelines to help make the separation a more constructive and creative experience and to greatly enhance the growth of the relationship rather than contributing towards ending it.

Commitment to do a healing separation

With the awareness that our relationship is at a point of crisis, we choose to try a working and creative healing separation in order to obtain a better individual perspective of the future of the relationship. We acknowledge that there are both constructive and destructive elements in our relationship. With this in mind, we are committed to do the personal, social, and psychological work necessary to make this separation a healing one.

Goals

We agree that in future time, when we have experienced the personal growth, self-exploration, and differentiation possible in a healing separation, we will make a more enlightened decision about the future of our relationship.

Length of separation

We agree that our separation will begin on 16h Jan 2010 and end on 31st Oct 2010.

Children involved in the relationship

We agree to joint custody of our only child Maya Wesley. The medical and dental expenses and health insurance will be the responsibility of the partner Dan Wesley.
