A flooring subcontractor contract is an agreement between a contractor and a subcontractor who is hired to perform the task of flooring. The flooring subcontractor contract lays out the terms of the engagement including the scope of work, job location, person days needed for completing the work, and quality of the work expected.

Terms of the engagement
This agreement sets forth in writing that the two parties – Will Smith, the contractor and James Marshall, the subcontractor – have come forward to agree that the subcontractor will take up the responsibility of task of flooring.
Scope of work
The scope of work will cover the flooring of the interiors and exteriors of the job location within the premises of the contractor.

Person days needed
The work would ideally need 20 employees working for 8 hours a day for 90 days. The number of days deviation permitted is 5 per cent.
The subcontractor shall use trained and experienced workmen.
The subcontractor shall perform all work according to the industry standards.
The cost of raw material, machinery and equipment would be borne by the contractor.
After the end of the contract period, if the work is done as expected, the total amount that will be paid by the contractor to the subcontractor will be $500,000.
