The export contract is a legal contract made between two parties, one whom is the buyer or importer while the other party is the exporter or seller. The export contract contains different terms and conditions related to export of specific products including shipping and loading.

This contract is an official agreement that contains terms and conditions, which will ensure proper facilitation of product export by Maunaloa Exports.

Following terms and conditions are important aspect of the export contract and need to be followed:

  • Payment:

The importer “Bridgewater Inc.” should forward their payment through check to the exporter’s bank “First Hawaiian Bank” by the 30th November 2011 to enhance the speedy shipment of “Java Plum” to Durban, South Africa. The first payment amount is $250,000 to be paid in two equal installments of $125,000 each.

  • Credit:

The buyer or importer “Bridgewater Inc. ” will maintain and establish an irrevocable letter of credit that will be payable against sight draft as mentioned in the payment terms in this export contract.

  • Shipment:

The exporter “Maunaloa Exports” can choose to ship the fruit consignment any day within the shipment period of 5th December to 20th December 2011. The exporter has the authorization to choose their sea route to Durban, single or multiple carriers, and with or without transshipment.
