Consulting contracts are legal binding documents which are prepared by the organization/ individual in order to avail or hire the services of the desired consultant. A consulting contract covers the working terms, fixed payment along with the duration and category of the consulting services.
A consulting contract types: business consulting contract, personal services consulting contract, interim consulting contract. A consulting contract is entered for consulting various official matters.
A consulting contract must include:
(a)Contract file number.
(b)Date on which the contract is going to be accepted by both the parties.
(c) Effective date on which the contract is made and entered along with the date of termination.
(d)Name, Permanent Address, contact number and e-mail id of the consultant.
(e)Name, authenticated address, phone number and URL of the client company.
(f) Type of the consulting services offered.
(g)Clauses for both the parties, including duties & responsibilities, payment term & modes of payment and renewal & termination condition of the contract.
(h)Signature of the consultant and the client company.
(i) Approval by the Solicitor.
(j) Signature of the witness.
Both the parties can demand for the duplicate copies of the consulting contract, whereas the original copy is submitted to the Solicitor.
